How scoring works
Responses are coded from −1 to +1. Each question contributes to every index through a coefficient. Each index is normalized to 0–100, where 50 is the neutral midpoint. Composite axes are weighted combinations of centered index scores. Internally they run from −100 to +100, but the page displays the result as an unsigned score toward either endpoint.
